What they ask for
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- 4+ years quality inspection in aerospace, composites, aviation, defense, satellites or related high-reliability industry
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications
- Inspect composite and mechanical assemblies
- Understand inspection methodologies and nonconformance reporting
- Proficiency with precision measurement equipment
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Legal authorization to work in the US
Nice to have
- 5+ years aerospace quality inspection
- Aerospace composites, carbon fiber, bonded assemblies experience
- Satellite, spacecraft, aircraft or defense manufacturing program support
- AS9100 knowledge
- IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, or avionics inspection standards
- FAI per AS9102
- GD&T working knowledge
- Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Aviation Maintenance or related field
- ERP, MES, SAP or electronic quality management system experience
- CQI, CQA or equivalent quality certification
