- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
- Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Ten years of relevant legal experience in law firm or in-house
- Complex commercial and technology agreement drafting and negotiation
- Real estate and infrastructure transaction experience
- U.S. privacy laws knowledge (CCPA/CPRA)
- Global data protection framework familiarity (GDPR)
- Compliance and risk mitigation program design and implementation
- Executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
Nice to have
- Aviation, transportation, or regulated industry experience
- Prior in-house officer-level legal leadership
- Technology transactions and emerging technology expertise including AI
- Cloud and SaaS technology procurement experience
- Global privacy and data governance program leadership
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPP)
- Regulatory investigations or cybersecurity incident management experience
- International legal experience across multiple jurisdictions
- Demonstrated team leadership and scaling capability
