What they ask for

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related technical field
  • 4-9 years of experience in attitude control systems for flight vehicles
  • Development experience in control law development, momentum exchange actuators, flexible structures, optimization, or SWIL/HWIL testing
  • Proficiency in C++, MATLAB, and/or Python
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
  • Ability to pass U.S. government background investigation
  • Onsite work at Space Station Development Facility

Nice to have

  • Experience with NASA's Trick simulation framework
  • Experience with JSC Engineering Orbital Mechanics (JEOD)
  • Spacecraft-specific control systems experience
  • Actuator testing and characterization background
