What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related technical field
- 4-9 years of experience in attitude control systems for flight vehicles
- Development experience in control law development, momentum exchange actuators, flexible structures, optimization, or SWIL/HWIL testing
- Proficiency in C++, MATLAB, and/or Python
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
- Ability to pass U.S. government background investigation
- Onsite work at Space Station Development Facility
Nice to have
- Experience with NASA's Trick simulation framework
- Experience with JSC Engineering Orbital Mechanics (JEOD)
- Spacecraft-specific control systems experience
- Actuator testing and characterization background
