- 7+ years experience as a software engineer in performance and reliability roles
- Bachelor's degree in IT-related field or 7+ years equivalent experience
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Mainframe and COBOL application experience
- Experience with modern enterprise systems including Java-based and cloud-native platforms
- AWS environment experience across QA, UAT, and production
- Performance engineering expertise in profiling, load testing, latency analysis, and capacity planning
- Proficiency with observability and monitoring tools like Dynatrace
- Incident response leadership and blameless postmortem execution
- Strong troubleshooting skills using metrics, logs, and traces
Nice to have
- Experience with hosting and infrastructure components like virtual machines and network appliances
