What they ask for
Required
- 10+ years combined backend/cloud development and data platform engineering
- 5+ years building data platforms or features with Apache Spark, Flink, Ray, or custom implementations of Time Series/OLAP/Open Table databases
- 5+ years programming in Java, Scala, Kotlin, or Python
- In-depth knowledge of JVM language or Apache Systems performance tuning
- Proven end-to-end ownership of product/feature design with vague requirements
- Strong expertise in algorithms, distributed systems design, and software development lifecycle
- Large-scale data/event pipeline experience
- SQL and NoSQL database design expertise including Postgres, MySQL, Cassandra, DynamoDB
- Test-driven development discipline
- Linux administration proficiency
- BS in technical field or 4+ years commensurate experience
- Effective collaboration with remote teams
- Experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making and workflows
