- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of pharmacy department training program with USP 797 and hazardous drug compounding competencies
- Certified Pharmacy Technician with Ohio Board of Pharmacy
- Certified Pharmacy Technician verified through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board
- Proficient typing skills
Nice to have
- Associate's degree or college coursework
- Compound Sterile Preparation (CPhT-CSP) certification
- Previous pharmacy technician experience
- Hospital inpatient pharmacy experience
- USP 797 compliant sterile compounding room experience
- Epic or similar electronic healthcare record experience
- Pharmacy Keeper or similar IV workflow software experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology and calculations
