What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Child Life or child development-related field
- Completed approved Child Life internship of at least 600 hours directed by a Certified Child Life Specialist
- Child Life Certification (CCLS) through Child Life Council within one year of appointment
- Basic Life Support certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross within one year of hire
- Ability to float between multiple facilities
Nice to have
- Two years and 4,000 hours of professional Child Life clinical experience in a hospital setting
