What they ask for

Required

  • 15+ years of progressive tooling or manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace or defense
  • Demonstrated team leadership and development in structured manufacturing environments
  • Direct experience with government and company property control systems (FAR 52.245 compliance)
  • Expert-level GD&T application per ASME Y14.5
  • Hands-on configuration management experience with tooling records and ECO processing
  • Broad knowledge of aerospace manufacturing and inspection processes: precision machining, composite tooling, assembly fixtures, welding, CMM, optical and functional measurement
  • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. DoD security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related engineering discipline

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting Missile Defense Agency (MDA) programs with MAP/PMAP requirements
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with DCMA audit processes and contractor government property (CGP) systems
  • Experience with SRM motor case, nozzle, or DACS tooling
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline
  • Active Secret-level clearance
