What they ask for
Required
- 15+ years of progressive tooling or manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace or defense
- Demonstrated team leadership and development in structured manufacturing environments
- Direct experience with government and company property control systems (FAR 52.245 compliance)
- Expert-level GD&T application per ASME Y14.5
- Hands-on configuration management experience with tooling records and ECO processing
- Broad knowledge of aerospace manufacturing and inspection processes: precision machining, composite tooling, assembly fixtures, welding, CMM, optical and functional measurement
- Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. DoD security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related engineering discipline
Nice to have
- Experience supporting Missile Defense Agency (MDA) programs with MAP/PMAP requirements
- Lean or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with DCMA audit processes and contractor government property (CGP) systems
- Experience with SRM motor case, nozzle, or DACS tooling
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline
- Active Secret-level clearance
