5+ years professional software development experience
Expertise in AWS serverless technologies (Lambda, SQS, RDS, Step Functions)
Proficiency in TypeScript
Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented and Functional Programming
Experience debugging with AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, or similar tools
Ability to lead technical discussions and produce workflow diagrams
Strong mentoring and code review experience
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions
Ability to scale and tune services for performance and reliability
Familiarity with npm private packages
Understanding of relational, NoSQL, and caching databases
Experience building OpenSearch indexes
Hands-on use of AI tools for development and review
Commitment to unit testing with high coverage
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice to have

AWS certifications (Developer Associate or similar)
Infrastructure as code experience (CloudFormation, Terraform)
Containerization technologies (Docker, ECS, EKS)
