- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience after a Bachelor's degree
- Strong C and C++ programming skills
- Experience with large codebases
- Experience with operating system interfaces for threads, process control, and virtual memory
- Experience writing and debugging multithreaded programs
- System-level architecture understanding including interconnects, memory hierarchy, interrupts, and memory-mapped IO
- Knowledge of memory coherence and consistency models
