- Bachelor's degree in planetary science, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or related technical discipline
- 5+ years of planetary mission experience with demonstrated progression into increasing ownership
- Ability to reason through cross-subsystem interactions and operational implications
- Capability to make decisions with incomplete information and under time pressure
- Excellent communication across technical disciplines
Nice to have
- Deep-space mission operations experience including surface or orbital science campaigns
- Experience designing onboard autonomy or automated scheduling systems
- Ground-based automation frameworks for flight operations
