What they ask for
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
- Understanding of food safety practices (GMP, HACCP, SQF)
- Working with 3-phase systems and VFD equipment
- Basic computer skills and CMMS platform familiarity
Nice to have
- 3 years of electromechanical technician experience in food manufacturing
- OSHA safety training or certification
- Familiarity with Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Lean Manufacturing or TPM experience
- Technical or vocational certification or associate degree
