This role designs the autonomous systems and operational requirements that let a constellation of spacecraft manage themselves with minimal ground intervention. It's ideal for someone with spacecraft or satellite engineering experience who can write system-level requirements and coordinate across teams to build fault-tolerant, scalable operations.

What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Systems, Computer, or Software Engineering, or related technical field
- Minimum 5 years of software and/or systems engineering experience
- Experience defining and implementing software-based automation or autonomy in complex real-time systems
Nice to have
- Experience with satellite or spacecraft operations and ground-segment automation
- Software development background with flight software and/or ground software experience
- Experience architecting and writing autonomy requirements for spacecraft or vehicles
- Experience authoring Concept of Operations and leading systems definition across subsystems
- Working knowledge of fault detection, isolation, and recovery and closed-loop control
- Breadth across multiple spacecraft disciplines and subsystems
- Advanced degree in relevant field
