  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • 2+ years supporting manufacturing activities related to structural builds, precision tooling, ground support equipment, or similar hardware
  • Experience with CAD software such as NX, Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar
  • Experience supporting partial or full life-cycle structural build projects including lifting, rigging, integration, and proof testing
  • Working knowledge of in-field fabrication techniques to achieve tight tolerances in structural systems
  • Ability to analyze technical issues and support effective manufacturing or integration solutions
  • Must clear US government background check for Cape Canaveral on-site work

Nice to have

  • 3+ years in partial or full life-cycle design engineering role
  • Experience with AFSPCMAN 91-710 or similar range safety, launch, or aerospace compliance requirements
  • Experience on Department of Defense, US Air Force, NASA, or similar government or aerospace projects
  • Experience designing, analyzing, or supporting fabrication of large steel, aluminum, or similar structural systems
  • Experience with mechanical systems, mechanisms, or moving assemblies
  • Experience checking engineering drawings and reviewing geometric dimensioning and tolerancing standards
