What they ask for

Required

  • 10+ years in global commodity procurement, trading, supply chain risk management, or commodity market intelligence in FMCG, food service, QSR, or agri-food
  • Demonstrable expertise across at least three of the nine direct commodity categories (Sugar, Wheat, Soy, Corn, Pork, Beef, Chicken, Paperboard, Potatoes)
  • Proven track record executing upstream raw commodity negotiations at significant scale
  • Strong working knowledge of commodity markets and exchange mechanics (CME, CBOT, ICE)
  • Experience with financial risk instruments (futures, options, swaps) and price risk management frameworks
  • Experience building or leading a Centre of Excellence, intelligence function, or data capability in a complex global organization
  • Experience managing external consultancies, market data vendors, and analytics platforms at enterprise scale
  • Ability to operate and influence within global matrixed organizations with multiple brands and franchise networks without direct authority
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate market dynamics into business recommendations
  • Executive presence and comfort presenting to C-suite and Board-level audiences
  • Fluent in English
  • Five days per week in-office work

  • Proven experience deploying or commissioning AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics tools for commodity forecasting and market monitoring
  • Additional languages: French, German, Spanish, or Portuguese
