Required

5+ years of software, platform, or infrastructure engineering experience
Hands-on data and/or AI/ML infrastructure work
CS/Engineering degree or equivalent practical experience
Deep expertise with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Working familiarity with multi-cloud environments and their data and AI services
Infrastructure as Code experience (e.g., Terraform)
CI/CD tooling experience (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI)
Containerization and orchestration experience (Docker, Kubernetes)
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, Bash)
Security and networking fundamentals for cloud resources
Track record operating production systems with monitoring, observability, incident response, and reliability practices
Ability to set technical direction at platform scale and mentor engineers

Nice to have

Experience in life sciences, diagnostics, or biotechnology
Data and engineering practices in regulated industries (HIPAA, GxP)
Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOX) and data governance
Experience working in matrixed environments
