What they ask for
Required
- 10+ years of fund formation law experience
- J.D. from accredited law school
- Admission to at least one U.S. state bar in good standing
- In-house or law firm fund formation experience
- Ability to identify and manage legal risks in business-oriented manner
- Experience managing and mentoring attorneys
- Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have
- Credit experience (private credit, structured products, NAV facilities, leverage arrangements)
- Retail and open-ended private funds experience
- Cross-border fundraising and non-U.S. investor structuring experience
- Offshore fund vehicles experience
- New York bar admission
