What they ask for

Required

  • 5+ years environmental testing experience in aerospace, defense, electronics, or high-reliability hardware
  • Hands-on execution of acceptance testing (ATP) and environmental test procedures with minimal supervision
  • Strong understanding of vibration, shock, and thermal testing operations including setup, instrumentation, and hardware handling
  • Experience configuring and operating thermal chambers, vibration systems, accelerometers, thermocouples, and data acquisition systems
  • Ability to interpret test procedures, engineering drawings, schematics, and hardware requirements
  • Experience exporting, organizing, and communicating test data to engineering teams
  • Troubleshooting skills for identifying setup issues, test anomalies, and hardware concerns
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail with accurate documentation capability

Nice to have

  • Engineering degree
  • Experience with aerospace flight hardware qualification testing programs
  • Familiarity with aerospace test standards (SMC-S-016, MIL-STD-1540, DO-160, or similar)
  • Experience in both development and production-rate environmental testing
  • Experience with test scheduling systems, MES/ERP systems, or digital test documentation workflows
