What they ask for

Required

  • High school diploma or GED or technical school certificate
  • 12+ years technical experience in machining, composites, rapid prototyping, and electronics
  • General proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer skills
  • Familiarity with aircraft or RC experience
  • Expert machining skill with shop tools
  • Experience building fixtures, tools, and electrical devices
  • In-depth knowledge of build and assembly documentation
  • Expert knowledge in at least two of: fabrication, composites, mechanics, electronics
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident (ITAR requirement)
  • Ability to obtain Secret clearance
  • Manual dexterity and ability to use soldering iron
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in manufacturing environment

Nice to have

  • Higher education
  • Welding certifications
  • FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot license
  • 3D additive manufacturing experience
  • Composites experience (wet layup or prepreg)
  • Machinist skills with GD&T
  • In-depth 3D modeling and programming software knowledge (SolidWorks/SURFCAM)
