What they ask for
Required
- 10+ years software engineering experience with focus on reliability and production operations
- 3+ years hands-on management of SRE/DevOps teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Deep understanding of SRE principles (SLOs, SLAs, SLIs, error budgets)
- Experience owning reliability for high-throughput distributed systems at scale
- Strong incident management and blameless postmortem facilitation
- Proficiency in Python and/or Golang
- Experience designing software delivery pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Bitbucket Pipelines
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes at scale
- Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Nice to have
- Familiarity with GitOps workflows using ArgoCD or Flux
- Experience with distributed data systems (relational, NoSQL, OLAP, streaming platforms)
- Exposure to Big Data and analytics technologies
