What they ask for
Required
- U.S. citizenship or Green Card/permanent resident status (CJIS clearance eligible)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with cloud infrastructure focus
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or similar languages
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cost management tools
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Nice to have
- FinOps Certified Practitioner certification or commitment to obtain within 6 months
- Experience in cybersecurity or SaaS industry
- Background with commitment-based discount programs (Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, CUDs)
- Experience with data pipeline development and ETL processes
- Familiarity with cost optimization tools (CloudHealth, Cloudability, etc.)
- Knowledge of database optimization and performance tuning
- Proven experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making and workflows
