What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related fields
- Demonstrated success in secure software development
- Proficiency with static and dynamic analysis tools and penetration testing suites
- Strong understanding of application security, cryptography, and secure coding
- Experience with systems programming languages like C, C++, or Rust
- Knowledge of hardware security modules and cryptographic key management
- Familiarity with FISMA, CMMC, NIST, AES, and FIPS standards
- Ability to complete U.S. government background investigation
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed
Nice to have
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GIAC, OSCP, or CSSLP
- Knowledge of zero trust architectures and hardware root-of-trust
- Familiarity with SPARTA framework or DO-178C
- Experience supporting aerospace or defense programs
- Exposure to Linux software development
