What they ask for
Required
- 4+ years of legal experience in-house or at law firm
- Strong knowledge of US data privacy laws including CCPA/CPRA and GLBA
- Cross-functional coordination ability
- Ability to translate legal requirements into actionable policies and frameworks
- Detailed analysis of data-driven products for privacy and legal risk
- JD and bar membership in at least one US state
Nice to have
- Experience with tax, fintech, lending-adjacent, or regulated data products
- Familiarity with international privacy laws including GDPR and PIPEDA
- Knowledge of Privacy Enhancing Technologies and their product applications
- Background in data analytics, data science, technology, or engineering
- IAPP Privacy certification such as CIPP or CIPT
