What this role is
This role repairs and tests complex electronic and electro-mechanical components for aerospace and defense applications, reading schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot failures and conduct soldering work on circuit boards. What they ask for
Required
- 3+ years experience in electronics troubleshooting or repair
- AA degree in Electronic or Mechanical Technology or equivalent
- US person eligible for ITAR-controlled work
- manual dexterity and finger control for assembly and soldering
- ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- working knowledge of computer systems
Nice to have
- knowledge of manufacturing or repair environment workflows
- familiarity with circuit boards, processors, and computer hardware
- understanding of engineering electronics principles and techniques
- knowledge of quality control and production optimization
