Required
- 10+ years in data architecture, enterprise data modeling, analytics engineering, or business intelligence data-product leadership at principal or staff level
- Expert SQL and data modeling across multiple business domains and source systems
- Deep expertise in semantic-layer design, metrics-as-code patterns, and metric-definition governance
- Experience owning or shaping taxonomy, source-of-truth, identity resolution, or semantic governance standards across stakeholders
- Strong communication and stakeholder management across product, engineering, analytics, finance, sales, operations, and executives
- Hands-on individual contributor who leads through technical depth and credibility
- Sound judgment about decision rights and when to escalate
Nice to have
- Experience in customer experience, support, operations, marketplace, or multi-product customer journey data domains
- Experience reconciling competing sources of truth across workforce or HR versus operational systems
- Experience partnering with central data platform, product analytics, or data engineering organizations
- Familiarity with AI-ready data foundations, governed semantic models, and natural-language query tools
- Experience with taxonomy tagging, customer-intelligence systems, or journey analytics
- Track record of mentoring and upleveling BI professionals, analysts, and analytics engineers
