Required
- J.D. from accredited U.S. law school
- Active U.S. law license
- 10+ years legal experience in medical device, healthcare, digital health, or regulated technology
- Deep expertise in U.S. medical device regulatory frameworks
- Experience advising on FDA submissions for medical devices or SaMD
- Ability to identify and mitigate risk across privacy, consumer protection, and marketing claims
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams in fast-moving product environments
- Exceptional judgment and communication skills
- Track record of independent ownership of complex matters
Nice to have
- Experience with wearable or connected health products
- Familiarity with FDA guidance on AI/ML in medical devices and EU AI Act
- Prior in-house, government, or medtech/digital health company experience
- Experience advising on clinical studies or research with regulated products
- Familiarity with ISO standards for medical devices
