Required
- 5-7 years of energy property insurance market experience
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
- Technical knowledge of Downstream, Chemical, Power, Mining and Renewables sectors
- Understanding of key hazards and industry loss trends in energy
- Ability to evaluate and prioritize submissions for underwriting
- Ability to analyze policy wordings and manuscript forms
- Relationships with tier 1 and 2 brokers
- Sales and relationship building experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to make quick decisions in fast-paced environment while maintaining underwriting discipline
- Willingness to travel 25% of the time
- Primarily office-based work
