Required
- Degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering
- Minimum 10 years welding experience, primarily laser welding in automotive seating structures
- Experience with Trutops, Precitec, fixture adjustment, and robot programming
- Deep understanding of welding data validation and process analysis
- Expertise in cost estimation and savings analysis
- 3D CAD design and GDT knowledge
- Layout creation, PFMEA, time and cost analysis for welding processes
- Willingness to travel to suppliers, plants, and technical centers
- Advanced English
Nice to have
- Experience evaluating AI and software solutions in welding
- Knowledge of welding machine concepts (LCC, MCC, HCC variations)
- Familiarity with digital integration of welding data systems
