What they ask for

Required

  • 5+ years as SDET with backend systems testing experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, or Go for test automation
  • API testing experience with tools like Postman for distributed systems
  • CI/CD pipeline and test execution knowledge (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, etc.)
  • Building and maintaining automated test frameworks (pytest, JUnit, TestNG, etc.)
  • Database experience for backend validation
  • Cloud and container technologies (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.)
  • Software development lifecycle and agile methodology knowledge
  • Problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to have

  • Experience testing machine learning systems (recommendation, ranking, probabilistic systems)
  • Creating synthetic or seeded test data for realistic scenarios
  • Evaluating model outputs using statistical and distribution analysis
  • Data pipelines, feature stores, and model-serving infrastructure knowledge (Seldon, KServe, Ray Serve)
