What they ask for

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
  • 5–8 years of supplier quality engineering, manufacturing quality, or quality assurance experience
  • Experience supporting supplier quality management, assessments, and corrective action systems
  • Experience with SMT, PTH, PCB assembly, and mechanical assembly processes
  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control, root cause analysis, and corrective action methodologies
  • Experience managing nonconforming materials and supplier corrective actions
  • Experience conducting supplier audits and quality system assessments
  • Knowledge of IPC workmanship standards, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and TL 9000 requirements
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to travel as required

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or Certified Supplier Quality Professional (CSQP)
  • Experience with ODM/JDM manufacturing environments
  • Experience in telecommunications, networking, fiber broadband, or electronics manufacturing
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D, and reliability engineering
  • SAP or equivalent ERP system experience
