What they ask for
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- Medical Assistant Certification required (or obtain within 4 months of hire)
- BLS certification within 60 days of hire
- Proficiency with computer systems and standard office equipment
- Ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing
- Ability to work with diverse patient populations and handle difficult interactions
Nice to have
- Associate or Bachelor's degree
- Prior MA or Patient Service Representative experience
- Knowledge of medical office terminology
- Experience with Windows-based office technology
- Customer service experience
