Required
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Space Engineering, or related discipline
- 10+ years of mechanical design and engineering experience with emphasis on aerospace structures and mechanisms for spaceflight
- Experience establishing and scaling engineering teams in rapid-growth environments
- Demonstrated hands-on experience as hardware lead for complex flight hardware assemblies
- Experience taking mechanical hardware from concept to flight delivery
- Track record leading verification and validation activities for flight hardware or systems
- Working knowledge of aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, and quality systems
- Understanding of structural analysis methods and mechanical testing requirements for spaceflight hardware
- Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 and ASME Y14.100 standards
Nice to have
- Human-rated flight hardware experience
- Experience in shared services engineering supporting multiple programs
- Experience mentoring or instructing engineers in technical fundamentals and best practices
- Experience guiding and mentoring diverse teams
