- 2+ years photonics devices experience at a leading foundry, OR 4+ years photonics experience in academia, OR 4+ years compound semiconductor processing with photonic device physics knowledge, OR 4+ years photonics engineering with device characterization, yield, reliability or test/validation experience
- PhD in photonics OR Master's degree in engineering with 4+ years photonics devices experience
Nice to have
- PhD in Physics, Materials Science, or Electrical Engineering with 2+ years photonic devices experience
- 4+ years process certification, product qualification, and reliability risk assessment experience
- Semiconductor device physics and defect mechanism knowledge
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and process development
- Hands-on semiconductor wafer fabrication and process integration experience
- Reliability failure statistics, physics, failure mechanisms, and failure analysis methodologies
- Experience with Telcordia GR-468 or AEC-Q102 photonic reliability standards
- Data extraction skills with SQL, Crystal Ball, ILM, REL, or PCS
- Familiarity with 5 Whys, 8D, and other problem-solving techniques
