What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering or related field with 5+ years hands-on experience, or Master's with 3+ years, or 9+ years without degree
- 15+ years hands-on chemical synthesis and pilot plant work including unit operations in chemical and energetic materials
- 5+ years leading projects of significant technical scope in regulated or defense environment
- 5+ years leading and supervising chemical engineering teams of 5+ engineers
- U.S. citizenship or eligible status for export control compliance
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
- Explosives handling licenses as required by law
Nice to have
- Experience standing up new chemical manufacturing capabilities
- Expertise in electrochemistry, evaporation, crystallization, dewatering, drying, grinding, mixing, and packaging of energetic materials
- Experience with industrial automation and instrumentation
- Experience with process modeling tools and CAD software
- Track record of building scalable management processes
