What they ask for
Required
- High school diploma or GED or technical certificate
- 5+ years technical experience in machining, composites, rapid prototyping, or electronics
- Proficiency with machine shop tools
- Experience building fixtures, tools, parts, or electrical devices
- Understanding of build and assembly documentation
- In-depth knowledge in at least one of: fabrication, composites, mechanics, or electronics
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to travel locally and domestically for testing
- U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident
- Ability to work under California respirator regulations
- Manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Nice to have
- Higher education
- Welding certifications
- 3D modeling and programming experience (SolidWorks, SURFCAM)
- 3D additive manufacturing experience
- Composite materials experience (wet layup or prepreg)
- Machinist skills and GD&T proficiency
- Ability to work in fast-paced deadline-driven environments
