What they ask for
Required
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- BLS and ACLS certification through AHA or American Red Cross
- Two years of nursing practice in a complex critical care environment
- Simulation and orientation with other MET RN Specialists
- NIHSS certification
- PALS certification upon hire or within one year for roles supporting pediatric patients
Nice to have
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- National certification in critical care nursing
