- Deep expertise in PostgreSQL internals including query planner, executor, and storage engine
- Experience building PostgreSQL extensions in both C and Rust
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL permission model, RLS, roles, and grant systems
- Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues in managed PostgreSQL environments
- Experience building and owning idempotent deployments across thousands of PostgreSQL instances
- Ability to read and navigate PostgreSQL source code
- Experience with multi-tenant database architectures
- Experience running PostgreSQL at scale
