Required
- Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution plus three years of laboratory training or experience in non-waived testing, OR CLIA-qualified high complexity testing personnel status with three years of experience
- Perform laboratory testing compliantly and maintain regulatory knowledge
- Adhere to quality control policies and document all QC activities
- Maintain instruments and equipment per manufacturer specifications
- Conduct proficiency testing in compliance with CLIA regulations
- Write and validate technical procedures
- Train medical technologists in new procedures
- Troubleshoot and repair laboratory instruments and procedures
Nice to have
- Medical Technologist certification such as MT(ASCP) or ASCP eligibility
- Hematology and Chemistry experience
- Prior experience in a lead role
