What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of manufacturing, controls, electrical, instrumentation, or automation experience
- Read and interpret electrical and control schematics
- Basic knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, and instrumentation
- Strong organizational, planning, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to train and coach others at different experience levels
- Ability to work in a plant environment and support off-shift or weekend needs
Nice to have
- 5+ years troubleshooting industrial electrical, instrumentation, and control systems
- Experience with Allen-Bradley platforms (ControlLogix, PanelView, CCW, RSLinx)
- Experience with Aveva or Wonderware platforms
- Understanding of industrial communication networks including Ethernet and legacy systems
- Knowledge of industrial electrical circuits, motor controls, grounding, and power distribution
- Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 70E, NFPA 79, and electrical safety standards
- Experience working with contractors, system integrators, and vendors
- Experience in process manufacturing, packaging, or food manufacturing
- Minnesota Master A Electrical License or equivalent electrical qualification
