What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or STEM field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in fast-paced manufacturing
- Extensive experience interfacing with design engineering, manufacturing, production and test teams
- In-depth knowledge of aerospace manufacturing and complex assembly quality processes and controls
- Working knowledge of PLM, MES, ERP and QMS software
- Proficiency with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Ability to solve complex problems and evaluate alternative solutions across multiple teams
- Strong communication and presentation skills to all levels of management
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of FMEA, APQP, SPC and PPV
- Experience with new product introduction (NPI) of hardware systems into manufacturing and production
- Familiarity with high-volume inspection and data-driven acceptance methods
- Understanding of AS9100/ISO9001 aerospace applications
- Demonstrated ability to define and own a process from scratch and communicate it effectively across teams
