  • 8+ years of professional Android engineering
  • Ownership of complex consumer applications
  • Deep Kotlin knowledge and strong Jetpack Compose expertise
  • Led architecture work in large or modular Android codebase
  • Shipped and supported applications through Google Play
  • Understanding of performance, offline state, background execution, media playback, permissions, and device fragmentation
  • Strong testing habits across unit, integration, UI, and end-to-end layers
  • Ability to debug across UI, networking, persistence, services, devices, and CI
  • Led complex projects from planning through launch with product and design partners

  • Experience using AI coding tools in development workflow

Nice to have

  • Experience building Wear OS applications or working with Wearable Data Layer
  • Experience with Health Connect, health sensors, or Bluetooth devices
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and health product regulations
  • Experience with Media3, CameraX, foreground services, or real-time audio and video
  • Experience designing offline-capable applications with Room, WorkManager, and background synchronization
  • Background in fitness, health, coaching, or personalized consumer products
  • Experience evolving a design system across a large Compose application
