Required
- Bachelor's degree and 7+ years relevant experience, OR Master's degree and 5+ years, OR PhD and 3+ years
- Lead architecture for foundational software including runtime, IPC, device communication, and system services
- Define multi-release technical direction for platform scaling
- Set engineering standards for reliability, observability, performance, and safety
- Design and deliver major subsystems and cross-cutting architecture
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship across teams
Nice to have
- Deep expertise in Linux systems programming and real-time/near-real-time architecture
- Track record architecting platform-level software for other teams
- Extensive experience with Python and C++ in complex, multi-component systems
- Proven delivery of real-time, device-integrated, or networked systems
- Experience leading large, cross-functional technical initiatives
- Experience defining architecture and standards across multiple teams
- Experience in regulated environments
- Experience influencing technical decisions across team boundaries
