Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field
  • US citizenship and ability to obtain US Government clearance
  • Deep expertise in space-based active and passive RF systems design and deployment
  • Understanding of space environment constraints: radiation hardening, thermal management, power budgeting, long-duration reliability
  • End-to-end RF system design experience across communications, electronic warfare, radar, and sensing
  • Extensive SDR design and development experience
  • Complex DSP and RF machine learning algorithm development background
  • Leadership experience with multi-disciplinary engineering teams through full R&D lifecycle
  • Fielded capability in SIGINT, EW, or radar domains
  • Government R&D contracting familiarity and ability to deliver against technical milestones
  • Proposal development experience for government solicitations

Nice to have

  • Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field
  • Active US Top Secret/SCI security clearance
  • Direct experience with space-based RF payload programs for DoD or Intelligence Community
  • Experience with AI-driven engineering workflows and agentic AI systems
  • Familiarity with agent orchestration frameworks like LangGraph or AutoGen
  • EM simulation tool expertise and vision for AI-driven simulation acceleration
  • Track record productizing R&D into commercial solutions
  • History of winning space-based RF program proposals
  • Background in orbit-specific RF: Doppler compensation, atmospheric propagation, link budgets, anti-jam, LPI waveforms
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
