What they ask for
Required
- Associate's degree in Natural Science, Materials, or related field
- 10+ years hands-on aerospace high temperature materials processing and testing
- Experience with lamination, honeycomb core assembly, bagging, de-tooling, resin infusion
- Experience with filament winding, PIP, CVD, surface preparation
- Experience with thermal protection systems, heat shields, TPS tiles, ablative materials, CMC, cork bonding, silicone adhesives
- Composite panel layup fabrication and surface preparation
- Advanced heatshield composite processing and machining
- Subject matter expertise in high temperature composites troubleshooting
- Ability to mentor and train team members
- Knowledge of lab operations support
Nice to have
- Operating thermal, mechanical, and chemical testing instruments (DSC, LFA, TGA, Dilatometer, Instron)
- CAD and software skills
