- 2-3 years of mechanical or technical work in manufacturing
- In-depth knowledge of hand and power tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to use measuring equipment including micrometers and dial indicators
- Working knowledge of computers and ability to learn CMMS software
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and troubleshoot
- Understanding of tolerance requirements on production machinery
- Ability to fabricate repair parts
- HazMat certification or ability to obtain within first year
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds routinely
- Manual dexterity for tool operation
