What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Information Technology, Automation or related field with 8+ years experience, or Master's degree with 6+ years experience
- Experience developing, implementing and supporting MES platforms
- Experience with programming languages including SQL, Python, C#, JavaScript, and .NET
- Knowledge of REST APIs, OPC UA, MQTT, Industrial networking, and database management
- Experience integrating MES with ERP systems, PLCs, SCADA, IoT devices, or cloud platforms
Nice to have
- Previous experience designing and deploying MES systems in a manufacturing environment
- Experience building internally developed MES or manufacturing applications
- Semiconductor, pharmaceutical, medical device, automotive, or electronics manufacturing experience
- Hands-on experience with specific MES platforms such as Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, Ignition, AVEVA/Wonderware, SAP ME/MII, Tulip, Critical Manufacturing, or Apriso
- Experience implementing AI-driven manufacturing or Industry 4.0 initiatives
- Knowledge of machine learning applications in production environments
- Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of digital twins, predictive maintenance, or process optimization
- Experience in regulated manufacturing environments
- MES vendor certifications
