What they ask for
Required
- 3–5 years network engineering, network operations, or infrastructure support experience
- Hands-on experience supporting enterprise routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, WAN circuits, and remote access
- Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, switching, routing, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN
- Experience troubleshooting network connectivity, latency, routing, firewall policy, and application access issues
- Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk, ThousandEyes, LogicMonitor, or PRTG
- Experience with ITSM and ticketing platforms like ServiceNow or Jira
- Familiarity with routing protocols and technologies like OSPF, BGP, static routing, IPsec VPN, and SD-WAN
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation for critical network support
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills with strong documentation and communication abilities
Nice to have
- Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, healthcare, manufacturing, or regulated enterprise environments
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, PCNSA, PCNSE, JNCIA, or equivalent
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Juniper, Aruba, or F5 enterprise networking technologies
- Experience supporting Palo Alto firewalls, Panorama, or GlobalProtect
- Familiarity with Prisma Access, SASE, Zero Trust Network Access, or cloud-delivered network security solutions
- Exposure to CASB, SaaS visibility, cloud application monitoring, or cloud security operations
- Experience reviewing firewall logs, network flow data, and security alerts
- Scripting or automation experience with Python, Ansible, APIs, or network automation tools
