  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Material Sciences engineering
  • 14+ years of payload design experience in aerospace and commercial airplane programs
  • 5+ years using CATIA V5, ENOVIA, and/or DELMIA
  • 5+ years on commercial aircraft programs
  • Experience with commercial payload systems and interiors (cabin, cockpit, cargo)
  • U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 (U.S. Citizen, National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
  • 100% onsite work at Seal Beach, CA location

Nice to have

  • 20+ years in payload design or related aerospace engineering roles with recognized expertise
  • Current ODA E-UM, Boeing Designated Expert (BDE), or FAA Designated Engineering Representative (DER) designation
  • Experience leading engineering teams with responsibility for cost, schedule, and technical quality
  • Experience developing and mentoring engineers
  • Experience reviewing and approving Service Bulletins
  • Experience creating standardized documentation and processes
