What they ask for

Required

  • BS in aerospace, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering
  • 1+ years building and testing hardware in manufacturing
  • Process development and work instruction authoring for mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic assemblies
  • Cross-functional collaboration with design, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and production teams
  • Leadership of large-scope process and quality improvement initiatives
  • Autonomous work in fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Knowledge of at least 2 of: fastening/torquing, pneumatic/electromechanical assembly, electrical/pneumatic testing, tooling design, potting, plating, harness manufacturing, or complex machining

Nice to have

  • New product introduction experience for aerospace hardware from prototype to high-volume production
  • Understanding of rocket subsystems including structures, mechanisms, high-pressure gas systems, or avionics
  • Expert knowledge of GD&T and drafting principles
  • Experience with capacity analyses, DFMEA/PFMEA, or value stream mapping
