What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Quality, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering with 7 years quality engineering experience, or Master's degree with 5 years experience, or 11 years relevant experience without degree
- Deep knowledge of AS9100D and aerospace quality audit navigation
- Experience leading Material Review Board activities and closed-loop root cause and corrective action
- Knowledge of space-grade workmanship standards including IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 Space Addendum
- Experience with supplier quality management and source inspection
- Ability to interpret schematics, assembly drawings, specifications, and datasheets for complex electronic hardware
- 3 years leading technical quality and inspection teams of up to 10 personnel
- Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Security Clearance
- U.S. Person eligible for export authorizations
Nice to have
- Active U.S. Secret or Top Secret security clearance
- ASQ certification (Certified Quality Manager, CMQ/OE, or Certified Quality Engineer CQE)
- IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 Space Addendum certification
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
- Counterfeit-parts prevention knowledge (AS5553 and AS6174)
- NADCAP special-process qualification familiarity
